Welcome Exterra (and shoot for Scope Rings)

Thanks, I'm mounting it on a Tikka t3x hunter in .308 caliper

The mounting screws on a Tikka are 6-48. On a REM 700 they are also 6-48 with the option of using 8-40 if requested.

I didn’t see anything about *what
to shoot with, so here’s an 18 shot group, 5-ish yards, 9mm, M&P Shield 2.0

It was a gorgeous day to be on the range.

Nice, I was hoping we’d have some pistol groups… we are equal opportunity, we don’t even mind air rifles, archery and crossbows. As a matter of fact, now that air rifles are legal for turkey in Idaho, I’m kind of fired up looking for a suitable big bore.

As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new sponsor @Exterra

Eddie

P.S. Holy smokes a month+ to welcome a sponsor? WTH is wrong with me? Simply no excuse other than I'm old. 😜

We had one person go through the process this past week and we didn't receive notification of their subscription. Hopefully it was a one time thing.
We have run several tests on the website this morning and all processes seem to be working as they should.

I just subscribed. Received a welcome email. No .pdf yet but will give it some time. Just picked up my Omega 300 suppressor and will test some hand loads on my 7 PRC when I get the target.

I left my magnum in the safe and enjoyed shooting this group with my very first hunting rifle :) circa 1941 Model 99 Savage in 300 Savage, sporting a 2.5x Lyman Alaskan scope and sending my handloads down range. Oh the stories it could tell! I took my first Muley buck, bulk elk, and whitetail buck with this rifle! 100 yards, variable 3 o'clock wind. Had to hold one dot low for this distance, picture for reference. Thank you Exterra for supporting the forum and for this excuse to go have some fun!20260405_121644.jpg20260405_121333.jpg

First shots with my Omega 300 can on my Bergara 7 PRC. 10 shots. 3 from me. 3 from my father-in-law. 4 from my brother-in-law.

Definitely need to shoot some more when the weather warms up. Get er' dialed in a little more.

My grandfathers first real rifle was a savage in 250-3000, I always was enamored with that gun when my father would take it out of the safe. Glad to see there still out there shooting!
