Weatherby Vanguard Talon

I currently have a Mark V live wild 7 mm bc on order and looking for Reviews on the Vanguards. Thinking about a Vanguard Talon in 308 for backcountry style hunting to replace my Tikka T3x wildland. Anyone have any experience with the Talon would be greatly appreciated. How's the accuracy, action and overall finish?

No experience with the talon but I’ve had several vanguards over the years and one of them was a backcountry so it was fairly tricked out, I’m thinking it was sort of a predecessor to the talon.

All of those guns we’re very accurate and reliable, I’ve read that the vanguard/howa 1500 action has a weak bolt stop but I never had an issue, my dad still shoots and does all of his hunting with a vanguard. I’d guess if it has the features you are after it’s a fairly safe bet for accuracy and reliability. The stock is nice, I wish they came with shorter barrels, maybe they do now haven't looked into them for a few years.
