Would be nice if it had an integrated rail.

In a market flooded with 700 clones I was hoping for a CRF. I get what they're doing but they've always been different. This just feels odd to me. But I hope it's a great action and they get their piece of the pie.

Would it accommodate extra long calibers like 300prc?

Yes, they will be chambering it in one of the models. They state 2.97" for the short action and 3.95" for the long action

That is a great price for the action. If it's good.

After designing 2 new cartridges based around the dimensions of their legacy actions this seems backwards? Just another 700 clone. The new 700 Alpha action even has the same features.

Wait... Isn't designing an action after a 700 footprint a step backwards? Has weatherby created theirs to somehow overcome the flaws of the 700 footprint/trigger?
Besides the trigger what are the flaws? The best custom rifles out there are all built off 700 actions.

My bad I should've said it better. 700 triggers aren't the greatest and that makes me not like them. The trigger is the flaw. I'm sure action is great and the aftermarket support is unmatched. But it would have been neat if weatherby had gone with a different trigger.

Not mad at this. Priced right. Swap the radial brake and call it a day

You don't like the Triggertech triggers or is there another reason? Just curious.
