So i recently rebarreled a weatherby mark v action that was originally a 7mm rem mag. I rebarreled to a carbonsix 7prc prefit that was installed by them. Currently having issues with feeding rounds from magazine to chamber. It feeds just low at bottom of chamber not allowing it to enter. I reached out and received the replacement magazine box and follower to fix the issue and still having same problem.

Additionally, the magazine box is for larger calibers which allows larger rounds, causing my rounds to seat further back under my bolt. I called weatherby today and was told that the 7mm rem mag and 7;prc bolts having different throw lengths, which they believe to causing issue. This still doesn't explain the round not angling upward enough into the chamber rather than the bottom of chamber.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

To me it seems like u need to adjust the feed lips and also put some on the follower to get it to kick up like in this mag.

The feed lips toward the chamber can be opened up slightly, allowing the bullet end to rise up more and get in the chamber. It won’t take much. A good size crescent wrench works well - you may have to grind one of the jaws to have enough clearance to get in for a good grip on the lip, and lightly sanding the jaws where they make contact to soften any rough edges will be less likely to scratch the finish.
