Washington Elk hunters

Only problem with the more tags idea. is there is not the population of quality bulls in the blues that there was just five years ago. I use to see five or six bulls that I would consider shooters in the course of a season. Now I may see one that is one on the low end of that scale in the entire season and spikes are more rare than that.
I didn’t mean specifically in the blues. I’m actually okay with less tags in the blues. Given the fact there are wolves running from one end to the other now. I meant in other East side units. Maybe if there were more tags in other units, it would give guys better odds at drawing and perhaps taking a shot at those units instead of holding out.

Let me also say I am by no means a conservation expert and am probably very far off here, just seems like it could make sense. Please do point out holes in my theory.

I drew one tag as a resident and one as a non res. I applied for a couple years as a non res before I drew. It was the most expensive state I’ve ever applied in as a non res.

There are multiple problems with the draw. 1. General seasons. 2. Multiple categories. Those are the biggest two imo.
