WTS/WTT Warning possible scammer TheGreat01

I placed a wtb which I know is risky. Just had the strangest interaction trying to buy a vortex spotting scope.

2 week old account, only posts are on the FNG page obviously racking up posts. Gives me two different names, cell phones from different state as the mailing address. I guess all are possible but also terrible grammar.
Also could give me no references. I hope I get called out I’m wrong but….don’t think so

I had the same encounter. He wanted to sell me a Swarovski 1.7 extender! It started getting fishy so I backed out. I should have done what you did and let people know. But I wasn’t sure. Thanks.

Similar experience with great01 and another member name dextermike I believe. I reporter dextermike (Steve bridson email) .

I wasn't 100% sure about great01 (aka Eric Lopez) so I didn't do the deal.


Pretty easy to see they were shady once you look at their post history. Both dexter and great had only posted in the welcome area.

They also reached out to my want to buy post which really helps them focus their scamming efforts.
