It's mostly the same 10 people representing the right and same 4 people representing the left. You just need to look at the username to know what the tone of the response will be.

You're spot on with this! I think there's a LOT of grace given by the moderators on these types of people. Way more than I'd be willing to give.

While I mostly agree with you on this, the problem is that many get their news from the MSM (CNN, MSNBC, etc.) and that is all they know. Those outlets are not reporting everything and they are doing all they can to portray Trump in a bad light. Not that he is a perfect person, but just beware of folks parroting CNN and the like. Because if that is all people watch, there's no wonder some don't like him. Just don't be an ostrich.

This is a hunting forum...firearms and archery are important as are the issues surrounding them, to include political legislation and political platforms.

I posted up a simple fact, which is the MSM does not, in fact, report fairly. And if he wants to take political advice from board members to be aware of that simple fact. Do you believe the MSM reports the news accurately or do you feel they have an agenda? If the people he gets his info from are also biased, he may as well watch the news...that's all I'm saying. I tried to be as gentle as possible in the way I said it. Sorry

Bann all political treads and posts even those that are hunting related. Nine out of ten posts are partisan drivel with a heavy dose pontificating, and the 10th will not add enough value compared to damage the nine does.

You will also lose some members whose contributions are mostly limited to those types of treads and unfortunately some members who politics over ride their sensibility and control.

You will have to look no futher than this thread for examples.

Another vote for banning all political threads - both sides are bonkers right now. Internet needs some places to escape from it. Some of my favorite podcasts are starting to bring up political stuff more often - I’ve been unsubscribing trying to get away from it.

Well I'll agree with you that MSM is not the place to get your news; BUT you should take it daily along with Glucosamine and Chondroitin- it's good for the joints

I come here to get away from all the crap that's going on in the US these days. Having said that I also think that when 2A issues, hunting laws etc come up it's really valuable to have input from the people on this forum. Lot of smart people here that have the experience and knowledge about those subjects you just aren't going to find anywhere else. Slippery slope, thanks for doing a great job moderators.
