Wall Tent / Car Camping Creature Comforts

I like the a Coleman lantern, either propane or white gas. The LED lanterns are bright to look at but don't really put out the light I need.
It's admittedly minor, but I really prefer the natural color "warmth" that the traditional coleman lantern puts out compared to bright white LEDs.

Heater that attaches to a 5 gal propane tank. Simple and takes the chill off in the morning especially if you can reach it from inside your sleeping bag. Hangers to hang clothes from the internal frame to dry. Indoor/outdoor carpet for the floor as was stated above. Tarp for over the tent to keep precip off the tent.

Agree on the table and carpet. A Coleman two burner stove is great for cooking on, I think it's easier than cooking on the woodstove. Something to get fires started quickly is really nice too, either firelogs or you can just get a small blow torch and blast that on some kindling and small logs.

Good suggestion. I have a very similar 0° bag just like that. Excited to test it out. Do you have any specific string lights you’d recommend?

I’ll have to go check the brand on mine..

I buy frozen pizzas, Costco lasagnas, pre made casseroles at home, etc and use this oven. Nothing nicer than tossing a meal in the oven, going camp chores done, and having a hot easy meal.

That definitely beats the coleman stove I suggested!

I forgot to mention, pre-prepping meals. We'll chop up peppers and onions with kielbasa and par boiled potatoes which cook up quick and easy. Last year I also vac sealed and froze a bunch of pot roast and then reheated it in a pot of water and served with instant mashed potatoes, that was a big hit at elk camp.

I have some 8"s, some 10"s and some 14"s, really depends on the ground. In CO I cannot get the long ones in the rocks. In soft soil I need the 14s
I kind of like the idea of using lag bolts. Would be easier to get them out of frozen ground.

I used lag bolts for the first time a couple weeks ago and they are very much worth it. I think mine are 3/8" x 10". I also use fender washers because the bolt heads are really small compared to the stake out loops.

Solar lights for outside the tent - the kind you push into the ground

Paint a 2gal weed sprayer black and put it in the sun. I use that setup at my cabin. Amazing how little water you need to rinse off and shower

Mouse traps...
