Voter turnout

Lawsuits aren’t indicative of anything. Our society is very litigious. Most of the voter fraud is caught and accounted for. Lawyers will sue anyone for anything that is billable. Voter fraud was the hot button after the 2020 election. Some of those lawsuits were defamation cases for tech companies and election workers who were incorrectly accused of fraud or bad tech.

I’m 100% in favor of stricter requirements for voter id and in person voting.

I have a feeling we will get neither this cycle as the early and mail in ballots trended red in many states. And it looks like there’s the possibility of a super majority so if ever there was a chance to make lasting changes now’s the time.

You must be watching different news agencies.

Litigation is certainly not law. But, It’s a great thing to make people mindful of the law. I guess you missed the 23 states that passed law. Someone in positions much higher than you or I didn’t agree with your assessment of voter fraud not being a significant threat. I’m happy they did so and can’t imagine why you’d feel any different if you are all for solidifying the election.

Time will tell who wins. And the greatest thing about that is we can be assured all your assumptions are correct. Because assumptions were tossed out the window after the 2020 election.

Politicians are master manipulators at making hyperbolic statements to energize a base.

23 states passing legislation also aren’t indicative of fraud. It means those states had a republican legislature and governor who saw an opportunity to make a legislative victory without doing any actual meaningful legislating.

California passes legislation all the time to combat “climate change” it doesn’t make it real. But you know what you can sure drum up a bunch of useful idiot votes if your a green energy advocate there’s also a shitload of litigation in that field.
Neither correlation = causation

Starr county in Texas (not a big county is considered one of, if not THE most Hispanic county in America) - Trump flipped it red after 100 years of blue.

**Added: 65K people, 97% hispanic and Trump won by 16 pts.

Small wims add up...Anson County NC 45 min outside Charlotte went red for the 1st time since the 1970s. Look in every swing state you find those small wins and they added up.

And yet we somehow end up with Trump as our President. I don't care about left vs right or what party you support. I honestly don't care which party has the Whitehouse. In my life I cannot say that it has ever made a noticeable difference. I am pretty much a middle of the road person. However, Trump is about as far from Christian values as one can get. I really wish we could just get some decent human beings to lead our country, and that includes in the Senate and House. This radicalized right vs the radicalized left has got to stop at some point.

This is what I mean. I would have voted R if there was an actual human running for president as R. I'm not Christian, but grew up as one and I respect those who are and most of the values they hold... Trump appealing to devout Christians makes no sense in my mind.

Because leftists are anti-Christian. This is easy math.

You don't have to be a devout Christian to respect their views...they were painted into corner. It was Trump or somebody that was going use tax dollars for prisoner transition surgeries, and push other social policies most Christians don't agree with...really not that surprising when you look at the choices.

This.

Your bare minimum options are to vote for what more closely aligns with your values, or not vote at all. I personally think voting is better than not voting. But deeper than that I think we can not only vote, but show up and help the party that aligns with your values, and try to shape and influence the beliefs of those around you. I know a shit ton of us here on Rokslide would help their neighbors that voted differently from them if they needed help. I think that is the Christian thing to do and why we would do it. None of us have to subscribe to 100% of the ideals of the candidates that they vote for.

Exactly! Wells said. We have to play the slippery slope/ long game and see that ANY step in the right direction is worth taking.
