Trump is about as far from Christian values as one can get.

Have you looked around lately? Go into an urban area and you're going to see some wild shit. I don't know what to call it, but scary.

I bet I think at lot like you. I don't love the man. I don't really even love the party. I see both as vehicles for good policy that helps as many Americans as it can. If he/they can consolidate power and make effective change then I will vote for that. I pray they wield it wisely.

And yet we somehow end up with Trump as our President. I don't care about left vs right or what party you support. I honestly don't care which party has the Whitehouse. In my life I cannot say that it has ever made a noticeable difference. I am pretty much a middle of the road person. However, Trump is about as far from Christian values as one can get. I really wish we could just get some decent human beings to lead our country, and that includes in the Senate and House. This radicalized right vs the radicalized left has got to stop at some point.

It seems that policy and one's personal morals might be two different things? Once upon a time, the left believed that government should not legislate morality but instead be involved with what is fair and constitutional.

It would be nice if the left would become liberal again.

This. And I'm hopeful that over time the Republican party can attract more. I think they've evolved to be much more representative of blue collar America, and traditional Christian values, which is good for America as a whole.

Starr county in Texas (not a big county is considered one of, if not THE most Hispanic county in America) - Trump flipped it red after 100 years of blue.

I don’t think illegals vote, I generally think voter fraud is overblown. Dead votes and stolen social security numbers happen but are rare enough I don’t lose sleep over it

There were over 100 lawsuits filed by the RNC to ensure proper protocol was followed during this and future elections. Also, 23 states changed and implemented new election laws since 2020 to keep voter fraud from happening.


To truly be realistic, there were obviously voting issues that needed addressed.

Whether your guy won or not, I think every American agrees that without a solid election process this republic doesn’t exist. That’s the greatest thing about this election. We all can sleep with the confidence that America will receive the person this republic intended when the results are official. That’s piece of mind. No matter who you voted for.

Lawsuits aren’t indicative of anything. Our society is very litigious. Most of the voter fraud is caught and accounted for. Lawyers will sue anyone for anything that is billable. Voter fraud was the hot button after the 2020 election. Some of those lawsuits were defamation cases for tech companies and election workers who were incorrectly accused of fraud or bad tech.

I’m 100% in favor of stricter requirements for voter id and in person voting.

I have a feeling we will get neither this cycle as the early and mail in ballots trended red in many states. And it looks like there’s the possibility of a super majority so if ever there was a chance to make lasting changes now’s the time.

I know a lot of very progressive people and you’d be surprised how many of them stayed home due to the whole Gaza thing. It’s a BIG deal with a lot of the far left and seems to have kept a lot of them either at home or at least not voting for Kamala

We have the technology to immediately count votes and show them online. Early and day-of voting where the voter is ID'd, confirmed, and personally loads the ballot into a machine for immediate collection and count seems like a good and transparent idea. These counts that run into the next morning, batches of ballots that irregularly hit the count, election officials openly discussing expected last minute absentee ballots, etc. is all a joke.

Agreed. Florida had results in like 2.5hrs after polls close. The rest of the country should be able to do that too.

Totally agree with all that but you’re overlooking one thing…..transparency, efficiency, and secure isn’t what’s wanted by everyone.
