Today is release day for our 22 cans! I’ve been using these quite a bit lately. They’re pretty dang quiet, very light weight and very tough! The Midge is the 5.5in version and the Gnat is the 4.5in version. We are in SLC at the Western Hunt expo, so we will reply when we can.

And correct me if I am wrong.
I think I heard on the Shoot2Hunt Podcast that these will handle 5.56/223 use?
Would be very interested in that for my predator rifle 223-AR

Nice. So the Black Friday cans should ship soon? I’m looking forward to testing out the gnat on my 22/45

We are “Recommending” use on up to a 16in 223 bolt gun. It’s not going to be as quiet as a 1.5-1.8in can obviously but better than nothing. Obviously more optimal for a 22/17, etc

I’ll talk with the guys. Like I basically said in the post above, it is a 1in can, not a 1.5-1.8in so there’s only so much volume, etc for suppression to happen. So it’s not meant for 223, etc but it’ll do it. But definitely better than nothing.

Sounds like the can you leave on your AR for the grab and shoot at hogs in the yard set up. You won’t blow your ears out and you are only taking a few shots. Yes I have hogs get in the yard out at my place. This device could serve double duty on a 22lr.
