UM/S2H/Suppressors/Scopes and More!

Ha! I just wanted the usable weight with the hub installed. I hate companies that post unusable specs. Its disingenuous IMO.

The upside to that goes beyond not feeling sleezy about misleading marketing too. If US chooses a light weight hub adapter, that is a leg up on the competition in apples to apples comparison.. Dead air puts a 1.7 ounce adapter on the XC. You can save an ounce from that by doing something in line with the rearden Ti Hub adapter.

I also wonder if there isn't an opportunity to save on weight/tolerance stacking by not having a hub at all and just doing DT. The market wants what it wants but I see zero good reason for needing additional parts on the ass end vs just having 5/8" threads.

Something of similar size/internal volume/length in front of and over barrel as an 8 stack raptor 3” reflex, changeable end caps, but printed as a monolithic piece of super titanium would be new to the market, an improvement over existing designs, probably more durable/oz., etc.

So following the scythe/reaper logic a little bit, isn’t the OG-Magnum just 1” shy of being to the AB Raptor 8 what the Reaper is to the Scythe? Size wise very similar to Raptor 6 I guess… but anyway, does a monolithic printed titanium OTB 6”/3” exist some where? I’d be interested in checking it out.

OG requires education, most suppressor purchasers right now are not making their decisions based on use case, they are making their decision based on specs. We have capacity and we can make a can that is competitive in the specs, The Reaper. It is the can that everyone is used to, the OG is and will continue to gain traction as people purchase it and use it!

We don’t have a complete can, we are making a light hub adapter right now, once it’s done we will have a final weight. Somewhere <8.8oz.

I just bought a threaded 9mm, will need an option (or two) for it eventually. Maybe the shorty to leave on and a range toy version.

Didn't realize I needed your permission to ask a question or buy a suppressor. Will I have to answer "did you get the internet god's stamp of approval for this purchase" when I certify next time?

Witty. But I suppose as normal, you won’t answer the logical questions.

At the class i was in there was no discernible in sound or tone of the OG and a top quality suppressor with .223’s on a firing line. The sort/ cheap cans yes. But when we went to the hills with “hunting rifles” in broken terrain the difference is massive. To the point you kinda got pissed listening to other suppressors. Especially when they were shot behind and to the side of you.. other cans were sharp and very annoying. After 1-2 shots you can immediately tell an og from other cans. I used an og rental on my hunting rifles and the weight/balance of the og is a game changer.. i don’t know how to describe it but man it just feels good on a short barreled mrc 6 creed!!!
Was anyone shooting a raptor 8 w/ reflex there? I presume it would have similar performance in the realm you are discussing. Really asking if the printed OG accomplishes something else sound wise a welded spiral baffle w/ reflex doesn't from a curiosity standpoint. Obviously it is longer and the OG accomplishes that in a smaller package.

@SloppyJ and I had our raptors next to OG.

Mine is 8. His is 10.

I cannot remember if it was his class or not, but there were 2-3 Raptor 8’s with reflex at classes this year. What he is talking about down range and to the side, you could not tell the difference between them and the OG. There is a difference between those and muzzle forward cans.
