100 rounds of 300 RUM from a 20” barrel. Started at 1 shot every 6 seconds or so, but by rounds 30-40 had changed to as fast as I could load and fire for 10 rounds, look at muzzle of can for 4-5 seconds, 10 more rounds as fast as possible, check, etc, etc. All videoed.
The OTB can is not a 300 Rum can, but the RUM is being used to ensure the integrity of the suppressor and not hoping the end user doesn’t find a failure. The damage was caused not by the Rum or baffle erosion, but almost certainly by metal shavings left in the can (you could hear the rattling at the start) due to not having the time to flush them. All production cans will be of course completely cleaned (and all prototypes so far have been before these). I will attach videos later.
This is what making sure a suppressor won’t catastrophically fail and injure the user looks like.
