6x45 will extract fineWow. That is impressively light. I still want to build one at some point.
How do the 6x45 barrels function with that solo upper? Any extraction issues?
Phenomenal. Mind if I share the photo?First blood was a spike bull, no pics, but the 4lb rifle then got me by best buck by far:
Go right ahead, thanks for the solo300 action!Phenomenal. Mind if I share the photo?
Fantastic buck, great job!First blood was a spike bull, no pics, but the 4lb rifle then got me by best buck by far:
Thanks! That was with the cheap bca 16" 5.56, and DRT 79 grainers going 2650 (slower load that printed well, I was in a rush pre hunt) at 125 yardsFantastic buck, great job!
What are your barrel and load specs? Range?
What upper are you using on the 6 arc? Solo? Bear creek side charger or bolt?I got an email from Bear Creek Arsenal and see they have 22 ARC uppers and barrels now. They also have a statement when looking at barrels that they will hold 1 MOA with appropriate ammo and rifle. They did not have 22 ARC in about May of this year.
I have 3 BCA barrels that shoot which is 100% of their barrels I have bought.
I’m running 6 arc and 22 arc as UL repeaters but have scopes that dial on them.

WHAT CAL. ?
DO YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF WHERE YOU CUT THE BOLT ? THINKING OF DOING THAT ON MINE TO RUN A FOLDING STOCKI am using the bear creek right side charge with their 6 ARC barrel. It’s their carrier that I cut off the back half and their 6.5 Grendel bolt.
If you go with an ARC I would follow @Thegman recommendation to remove the gas rings and rubber piece inside the extractor spring. Those two make a big different in the force required to both chamber and extract a case.
I also have a Warwick Tactical right side charge with a cut and sanded bear creek carrier and KAK ARC bolt that I have a BA 22 ARC barrel on. The Warwick is tighter that the BCA upper but both are smoother/looser than the solo upper
