Yeah, I think we've determined that the 5.56 (and probably any bottleneck) ones are single use, except for very reduced loads, I'm getting many reloads at subsonic pressures.

I think that federal's 7BC or whatever it's called is a one piece design, I wonder why shellshock went with the 2 piece. Oh well, I think they will work fine once in a bolt action AR, and I'm really enjoying my Hollywood quiet suppressed rounds (3.1 grains of titegroup) and the fact I don't have to size them. Wipe them off, clean primer pocket, nylon brush neck once, reload...
No trimming either!

Opinion on best suppressor for 6x45 UL rifle

You can try the JK 155 VSX, the system let's you buy the number of baffles you need in a variety of configurations. If you want more noise suppression, add more baffles... if you want lighter-weight, take baffles off.

The LT versions are the lighter-weight ones.

I have a 30mm 20 oz scope coming I need to mount on my BCA side pull upper. Cantilever mounts are heavy and I don’t think I will need one with this scope.

23 miles through swamps and thickets in hot weather chasing deer and hogs across 3 days. Carried my 6ARC gas gun with PA Microprism. Weighs about 5-5.5lbs.

No sling, got beat to hell. But it solidified my decision to finish up my ULUL 6x45 build. A 4lb rifle seems optimal for what I did.

I may bite the bullet and replace my cheap BCA upper and bcg with something lighter.

I’m LOVING my 3.5 lb. ULUL build and should have done it a lot sooner. Got the 223 SHAW on it and I’m working on a 300 Bkackout 6” barrel upper now that I am putting my 9” ULTRA TBAC on.

Impatiently waiting on a Shaw barrel.

In the meantime, I want a traditional profile rifle. I don't want to spend lots of money... so here is an idea I had.

What if I ground off the area behind the trigger (where the handgrip fits on), ground off the castle nut area from the lower(not needed now since it will be a short bolt straight pull) and installed a butt stock. What I'd do is drill a hole where the red line goes through the lower and I'd anchor a big screw there like you would for a Remington 870. I think the caveat is that I could not do this with a poly lower, it would be too fragile. But I think with a aluminum lower it would be strong enough.
I know the normal AR15 set up is probably better for long range shooting but I like a more traditional rifle.

I would try an adapter bolted into the grip thread before I tried anything else.

C Bow, if the goal is ultimate sound reduction, do not get a dinky can from WY Arms. I repeat, don't get that can.

For noise reduction, volume (as in space) is critical. The Wolf Hunter is the best 6mm option I know of. It will sound great on a 6x45 and .223 without much added weight or length. For a dedicated .223 can, the quietest I have used is the Silencer Central Banish .223.

The Scythe-Ti is another wonderful option, and if you ever plan on using it on larger rifles, that's the route to go. But if you're only gonna use this can on a .223 or 6x45, I wouldn't suggest a .30-caliber can.

Wolf Hunter is relatively light and quiet. I like it a lot for that.

Yeah 1.18” is bare minimum. 1.25” plus is better. 1.5” and I can put a foam or leather cheek rest on. Top of pic to middle of scope.
