Turkey Gun

Beretta A400 xplor 28g Carlsons extra full turkey. (.505 constriction)
1oz #9 tss handloaded since its not commercially available. I tried the larger 1.5oz loads but I feel like it beats the gun up too much and the 1oz load has full coverage without voids on a turkey target at 40 yards. I will experiment with 1.25oz loads next year just to see how the gun likes it

I have a number of spots Loudoun mainly but I have turkey spots on the opposite side of the mountain from GR. Thompson and Faquier

And for the record.... My 1oz loads will take down a turkey at 50 yards

Anyone tried a mossberg 505? I liked the idea of the super bantam 500, the 505 is a tad shorter, but not sure if there is aftermarket market support for it like the 500

As all the .410 guys show, a cannon is not really necessary, or all that much fun. It’s OK for the turkey to win now and then.
