870 with factory TSS and red dot. Don't overthink this one.
Nice looking setup. Did you have the receiver drilled and tapped for a pic rail to mount the Burris Fast Fire III? How durable has that FF III been for you?Mossberg 835. Burris fast fire III. Shooting Longbeard XR 3.5" 5's or 6's. Carlson choke.
I'll have to dig up some exact info on how I went about it.but the gun when purchased was capable of adding a rail. i believe it was a marlin 336 mount, very low profile mount.Nice looking setup. Thanks. I'm undecided on whether to go with the Burris FFIII or the Vortex Venom 3 MOA.I'll have to dig up some exact info on how I went about it.but the gun when purchased was capable of adding a rail. i believe it was a marlin 336 mount, very low profile mount.
The Burris FFIII has been absolutely bullet proof. I did a sight in when I mounted the sight 5 or 6 years ago and I have never had to touch it since. Check it every spring before season. Love the set up
I’ve used both. I prefer the Venom.Thanks. I'm undecided on whether to go with the Burris FFIII or the Vortex Venom 3 MOA.
This is a real hard pill to swallow, and I have no clue why they’d demand such a price for .410 ammo. But when a box of 5 shells is 40-60$
I shot my first turkey this last year and I had more fun than I thought I would. I’m kind of in the market to buy a turkey gun. What is everybody shooting? Any suggestions? Really don’t wanna spend more than $600.
