My point is, allow for the discussion of anything off-topic, or nothing at all. Anything else is censorship when there’s respectful conversation relevant to the topic at hand.

Get rid of the general topic section altogether, change its description, or allow for the respectful discussion of anything and Everything as it’s described.

Let me clear up that i dont think the sites admins want to eliminate free speech. This site's admins want to run a hunting forum and does so by utilizing a moderate moderation policy that best serves their model which is exactly what the site administrators have said and demonstrated many times.

So, why the link to an organization that by your own admission has not released guidelines? I mean, you had to link a Wikipedia page. That is something that should be the content of jokes.

As for the rest of your post, im not really sure what you are trying to say. But if the later part is supposed to be a description of what the new dhs board is supposed to be, it is an inaccurate description based on statements and actions made by dhs and the administration.

I deal in facts, not the spin generated by 24 hour news or politicians. The facts are that beyond the two things listed no details have been given and no actions taken. Beyond ranting over the name, republican politicians have failed to ask a single probing question when they have had the opportunity during congressional testimony. This indicates false indignation and playing to their base. Their numerous microphones in the media have been all to happy to amplify the histaria while being devoid of any true information.

I will admit, the lack of clarity and name choice does not inspire confidence. But, that is reason to be wary, not to start blasting the alders because a shadow moved.

As for this, I was joking around with my responses and usage of "they" was supposed to make that obvious but obviously didnt.

I'm talking about one particular shadow, and an in depth discussion of the geographic area will not change the point in question. I see no in depth political discussion as needed to ascertain the known facts about the Disinformation Governance Board.

I will bet a $100 donation to Rokslide that in the next 6 months to 1 year (you pick the timeframe, but it must be definitive) the Board does not release any binding guidance on what is allowed on social media. In short, nothing they put out will need to be on the radar of Rokslide mods.

I don't think there is a bear in the alders on this, but I have not seen what is moving clearly, so must allow for the possibility.

The time frame would be forever first of all since the 1 st amendment doesnt have an expiration.

My comment regarding the rokslide administration was tongue and cheek when ryan avery made a comment about truth from his or the OPs perspective. It wasnt a threat, it wasnt a serious attempt to advise them on running their site, it was to point out an agency with an eerie similarity to the ministry of truth had been established. It was still news to most people a few days ago.

Third, this is basically a thread for ppl to just meme in at this point. I think its safe to say i will never agree with your political views. Nor convince you of mine. Fortunately, we dont have to.
