Tripod height?

When they sell a tripod and head combo is the listed height with or without the head?

Tough to say so I would look up the specs on the specific tripod model that is part of the package.

Every manufacturer is different. Normally it is the specs for the tripod without the head

Looking online and nothing states where measurement is taken.

Figured out one of them was listed at 61" maximum height which included the head and center extension. The other was listed at 66" but cant figure out height but I ordered anyway, amazon had a 66" sunpak carbon with ball head for 95 bux. will will see how it looks!
