Trijicon Huron 3-12 x 40 with the 30mm tube for elk and mule deer . Eye relief issues ?

Was also looking at the Credo 2.5-10 x 56.
But that's out of your budget.
I really like the SWFA , but have a tough time seeing the reticles with the FFP scopes.
You will not have that problem with the SWFA 3-9.

I have a 3-9x40 Huron and can fit my entire pointing finger between my eye and scope. The eye relief distance has to be a typo. Supposed to be the same glass in the Trijicon scopes - google it. So the eye relief and low light should be the same for similar models.

It is very difficult to find a good low light comparison on scopes. We have a lot of guys on here saying you don't need good glass, just repeatability - they don't hunt low light. SWFA should be pretty good tho.

Keep in mind that if you buy a 12x SFP scope, you will probably have to be on 12x to use those BDC subtensions.

I personally don't want to be on 12x to shoot 300-400yds.
