Trials bike vs dirt bike/TW for hunting.

That Volcon will grunt things out for sure. That being said, no way you can carry anything sideways on the rack, on many tight technical trails. You would for sure hit the inside bank and you would be thrown off the trail.

How would you ride out of the backcountry with elk quarters on one of these?

You put them on your backpack and ride. I haven't hauled an elk out on mine yet but have hauled close to 100lbs of salt and gear on my back multiple times. For me the more technical the trail the more trips with a lighter load. Time on the bike is the biggest factor, obviously adding weight messes with your balance. Even having a bow strapped to your back is different. Low or overhanging limbs will hit it if a person is not careful, I would make sure and get a bike way before season and clock some hours on it, make sure and find some single tracks prior to season. Single track mountain trails are way different than riding around at an OHV park.

I'm guessing you just mean a trail bike vs motocross bike?

I have an old Honda XR250r 4 stroke, that thing has a ton of low end torque, is super lightweight and will go up and over everything.

Hauling an elk quarter on your back on technical trails is not for everyone. Eat the tank, keep the weight forward and don’t pucker too much

It is a problem.. Or this year I ran a 2 stroke fuel injected gasser.. With out giving too much info figured w my Honda generator at the base camp the stark would cover 90+% of what I do.

A good buddy is about as gasser as ya get he lets me barrow a stark as well as fully mod surrons (less range). IMO unless you are running 10+ miles a day for 5-6 days at a time again a stark is a cheat code for the rougher single track we do at 9-12k’ here in co. He ran electric on 95% of the rides he did last year anywhere…. Did I mention they are incredibly silent ..

Perfect no but a stark might be the best tool depending on the application you are looking for. The non slip settings and power control let ya really dial it in to conditions..

no doubt I would take a stark over a t dubz for my application.

What is the incidence rate of spontaneous fires happening with a Stark, or a Surron? Approx how much range (in HILLS!) does your Stark do?
