so today I found myself back up the mountain with the Coues man himself. Today was overall slow as far as deer movement. We saw a few small bucks but decided to move spots which turned up a few does. We moved one more time, the area looked GREAT! we immediately found a few loner does. I was almost over it when a big buck went strolling up the ridge line. He had his nose to the ground and moving with a purpose. We quickly came up with a game plan which involved me crossing the canyon and trying to head him off. I had to move quickly and I did however it wasn't quick enough. He caught up with that doe and pushed her a few canyons left with minimal day light. unfortunately i didn't get a photo of him (no time). I did however get a few photos of a forky which I will post up soon. all in all, another good day surrounded by high spirits and a good person.

I will be heading back into muley country in the morning and hooking up with the master himself. you will find out who soon enough.

I know I am meeting up with you, but who is this "master" joining us? I know it isn't me, at least not as a Bowhunter.

He looks within range. Waiting game now! There is alot of cover between the two lets hope Doug can seal the deal.

This hunt is going to get me fired...

Its going to make me quit! Im a stones throw away from these guys chompin at the bit to smell blood. When you guys kill something swing by the house when you come thru vegas so I can at least touch some horn!
