Don't worry about pictures make a plan and find that buck. We can get pictures and stories when a arrow is in him. Good luck buddy.

Didn't get him today. I started my stalk at 12:30 or there abouts. I worked less than 100 yards and arrived at 4:10. Wind in my favor the whole time. He was bedded and there was a huge rock between me and him. He was bedded around 50 yards with no shot. I set up to where I was in front of his hot doe thinking he would push her that way which would have given me a 40 yard shot, I waited for approximately 40 minutes and he got up, hooked her and pushed her up and over hill from me, 88 yards in wind. I'm not going to take that shot especially when he isn't spooked. we then played cat and mouse until dark. He never knew I was there. I'm hoping he will be back in there tomorrow.

No, I could see all around him though. I knew exactly where he was at. I couldn't get closer or another angle due to his honeys. He was in the middle and they were scattered in every direction!

I'm disgusted with myself and that buck. Story to come later. I'm going to go sulk in a corner now...

After sulking in your corner you will remember that you are hunting an animal that has nothing better to do than protect its own life. And you're doing it with a stick and string. If it were easy you wouldn't be there. If I were to guess.. you learned a lesson today that will give you an advantage tomorrow?
