I am currently looking for a pack recommendation. I’m and avid backcountry Hunter and also world traveler. My current needs for a pack is getting as large of pack that I can use to be carry on for an airplane as well as 1-2 day Light trips into the boonies. I have an upcoming vacation/travel that will be 20 days or so and I have no problem getting everything I need into a standard carry on / roll around luggage bag (I do not know the cubic inches of this just that it is a max size carry-on bag), But I would like to carry a backpack instead. I also have a need for a 1-3 day Light use bag so why not kill two birds with one stone.

I was looking at the Spike Camp Model and notice it says for carry on use. The pack looks great the only concern I have is that I’m am a pretty good size guy, 6’0” 230Lbs Wide in the shoulders etc. From your experiences does this pack work well for larger guys? Or will I be the fat guy in the little coat? Also do you know if there is any pictures on web anywhere that show the spike camp with additional pockets added? Will the SPike camp be large enough or an equivalent replacement to my roll around carry on bag?

Does Anyone have an other pack recommendations or travel experiences with back packs?

Also one main concern I have is that the pack has to be able to come if optional colors as much as I would like a camo pack some of the countries I travel to are not safe to wear camo colored gear, your either labeled as military or the military labels you as false impersonation which neither is a good thing...

Thanks
