Daypack/Airplane Carry On

I have taken my kuiu divide 3000 as a carry on and it fit in the overhead bin just fine, packed with a tripod and spotter and some clothing too.

I like this pack as a day pack and airline bag

Did you take the waist belt off to use as a carry on?

My only complaint is not having a stretch pocket for a water bottle.
