I have no qualms with the fellow hunters who use in lines (disclaimer) as I am a traditional long rifle hunter ( flint locks ) just looking for same minded members. who might want too post about those type weapons a bit.

I've never used flint lock but have several percussion sidelocks. Including two shotguns one of which is a SXS. Double hammer.

I took this antelope buck with my Lyman Pedersoli GPH .50cal. at 45 yards. I am pleased Montana has its own season now with the traditional requirements.

I've come to love hunting the wide open spaces with my 54 and 58 Hawkens. These are my bucks from 2021, 2020, and 2019.

I've taken a number of whitetails with my flintlocks, both here in Va and in western Ky where I used to live. No luck so far this year, but the late season starts Dec 11th so there is still time.
