Toyota I-Force Owners, any issues?

I just left a 24 Tundra. Gigantic pile of crap. Bought a 25 F150 with 3.5 EB and it is a better truck all around, by far.
Ya I remember you had a ton of issues. Mine was fine, but too large to wheel and for the trails for my taste.

First time I went 1/2 ton in a long time. It’s either tacos or a Cummins for me. Half tons just don’t do it lol

I really hope the fix the next gen, this was in the tundra is a disaster

Ps, all the land cruisers do not have the v35a, they all the hybrid 2.4. That would kill gx sales, hence why it’s also not in the 4Runner.
Sorry, meant the 300 series "real" LCs which we don't get here (other than the LX).

Even with the 3700 2024 gx 550 recalled, not one spun main bearing reported in 2024-2026 gx550. Yet there are 1000s of tundras that blew up.

Something is drastically different. Ecu tuning, lack of pre ignition detonation in the gx, fuel mapping, etc.
Glad to hear the GX aren't nearly as affected. I think their motor and the LX are built in Japan vs. Alabama, which might have something to do with it. Those GX are mighty sexy...

That’s all we drive. I had 3100 miles on my tundra. Lost 1500 bucks. Didn’t think that was terrible at all.

Butttt as much as I love yota, they shit the bed on the engine issues for these tundras, I’m glad I got ride of mine, we love our gx.

Thanks for that clarification on the 2.4 LC. I didn’t think they were getting the 6 + tc. I’m just starting to like the LC looks but can’t they just stick a straight 6 or even a nice torqy diesel in it??

Haha love it, I agree the us land cruisers are nice but they ain’t a Land Cruiser!

Ya something is up, but even with the press release coming in April from mothership Toyota, idk if we will ever find out what the deal is.

Pure rumor from gx forum, the recalled engines in the 2024 were us built engines, to meet the demand for gx sales. Which would make sense like you mentioned on the Japan made units.

Our gx I for the 10 yr extended. Money well spent imo with all the stuff in that, it’s like a spaceship compared to my taco lol

Ya they fit, but our goverment won’t allow it. Ya know, epa knows best…..
