I think I am ready to upgrade my Rcbs chargemaster. I have been eyeing the V4/fx120i combo and also saw the Ingenuity precision dispenser. Does anyone have any other options to consider or have experience with other versions of auto dispensers. My RCBS works great, just wanting to increase speed and accuracy. Obviously cost is important, but at this point, might be secondary to function.

The Ingenuity looks way better than the V4. But the complete kit isn’t ready yet.

There is a 3D printed dispenser that looks decent. Probably be a lot less expensive than the V4/Ingenuity.

I have a v4 and need another. I don’t know what I don’t know about the other or previous gen AutoTrickler but I am happy with my v4 coming from a chargemaster lite.

Like I said I still want two so I don’t have to wait. Throwing powder is still my slowest operation in the reloading room.

I’m happy with the gen3 auto trickler with fx120. The new ingenuity setup seems awesome but I feel like it’s been almost here forever so not sure what the deal is with that.

I use the v4 and fx120.
I have used h4350 h1000 h110 h4831 and probably more in it.

Throws currently run at 12-14seconds on the auto cal setting.

Been running h110 lately and with any of these powders its always within .02gn. With larger grain powders it can throw .06gn over/under, unless you slow it down a touch. its easy to fix, tbh.

Is it as fast as the ingenuity? nope. Does it work just fine as it is... yup.

It's like this. The V4 is excellent. The V4 with the Ingenuity Powder Meter upgrade is better. The Ingenuity Powder System is the best, but there's a wait time to get one. It's worth noting that with choices 2 and 3, it's very rare to get an overthrow with most powders.

I wouldn’t put it in the same class as the auto tricklers but my chargemaster died about 6 months ago and I switched to the frankford arsenal. Running everything from 4831sc up to n570 it’s been very quick and accurate. Pretty much everything runs within .06 grains. I use a little Amazon scale to double check weights, probably don’t need to but I started when using the rcbs and now it’s just my process. I use two pans. Load the first one on the FA, dump into the second pan and replace to start filling. Second pan goes into case or gets a kernel or two then into case. First pan is ready and waiting.
Like I said it’s not one of the high end scales but thought I’d throw in an option on a $200ish scale
