My 6.5 is cut to 16.25 and threaded 5/8 then has a suppressor break rocksett on. It works fine, but next time I’ll probably have one of those nifty collars done that bells out so I can reduce even more weight (3oz brake)

Thank you, that's very helpful. Since I've got the Raptor with the 2" narrow reflex I can't really use very much of a collar.

Looking to get a .223 and right now the superlites are about a hundred bucks cheaper than the lites at sportsmans. Would you guys pay more for the lite if you planned on chopping and threading? Or is threading into the flutes a non issue if you find the right gunsmith?

I think my barrel is a rough tech take off so it maybe a little thicker than the super lite, but I just got my barrel back from my gun smith yesterday.

Did you install the 5/8 thread adapter yourself? Or would it require the precision of a gunsmith to install it?
I did it myself. It’s just like you putting a muzzle device on and then a suppressor. Except you don’t have to worry about timing.

Ok that’s good to know. When I talked to the gunsmith, he was talking about having everything precise to prevent a baffle strike. Doesn’t sound like that will be the case with these devices. Do you have a link to the one you purchased?
