Tikka T3x 338 Win Mag

Put my tikka 338 in a manners ehta and the recoil is very manageable in my opinion.
Run 225 Accubonds. Thing is a hammer.

Plan is good;

338WM is where the ideal OAL for the T3 is - I tried a 300WM and with the long range offerings, mag length is quickly exceeded.

100% agree. With the higher BC bullets like 190AB LR, you almost have to seat the bullet on the ogive to meet 3.340", max I got was 3.360" from a factory magazine. Makes me wish I would have gotten a 300 WSM instead.

But 338WM has a shorter shoulder on the case, and would really give you some much needed room in a factory magazine to seat those bullets out there a little bit further.
