NEW - Tikka Roughtech SuperLite - 5.8 lbs - NEW

Can anyone confirm as to whether the barrel is Stainless on this EuroOptic Exclusive?

Description: Tikka T3x RoughTech Superlite 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 1:8" Bbl Roughtech Ember/Tungsten 4rd Rifle

Model: JRTXRBT382

I have received conflicting answers from EuroOptic Customer Service. First one was that yes its a Stainless barrel/action and now that NO, its blued. Cant seem to find answer anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Don

I'll go look at my box here in a bit, but it says SS somewhere on the box code and it looks to be stainless.
Be aware, mine has m15x1 thread pattern.

Thanks ScreamingPotato,

I just now returned from picking up the rifle from my FFL and was about to post the same pics. Appreciate your engagement and can now confirm on my end as well that the barrel is indeed Stainless.

It's a great rifle, you're gonna love it. If you have a suppressor with a HUB compatible mount C&S can make you a DT adapter in that m15x1 thread pattern that's IIRC .9 oz or so.

Hopefully you are enjoying that rifle and its shooting well for you...excited to get mine up and running.

Looks like are messages overlapped.

Super excited to hear that you are enjoying yours and anxious to get mine up and running. Definetely going to suppress, although still undecided on exactly what Suppressor and mount type. Really appreciate the lead on the C&S mount though.

Terrible picture using my phone through the scope but there's 5 rounds inside that square appears they're all touching. This range can't go get the targets. Nothing major compared to the other guys around here but I'm not that great of a shot so it excites me. 100 yards. I have a B&T Ranger on it because this is supposed to be my lightweight rifle.

Glad to see (pic is pretty tough) that it’s shooting so well for you and that you’re digging it. I’m psyched to get mine running. Still waiting on some parts, but once I get to the range I’ll get back to with an update

Morning Jake, yes that was me.

No apology necessary. Everyone on your team has been a pleasure to work with...however there was some uncertainty when it came to the details on the barrel spec....depending on who I spoke with.

Thankful for this forum, in that I was able to find you and get the final correct answer on the product.

Thanks again for the help.

Best, Don

I was at the store this past weekend and just want to say its pretty impressive. I handled a bunch of the Tikkas although was more impressed with the Sako maybe just because I already own a few Tikkas. Walked out with something different entirely for my daughter. Only place where you can try on all of the Stone Glacier clothing and even had Schnee boots. Definitely will go back.

Just came here to say you and your team have some of the best customer service. I damn near don't even shop other sites anymore. Except for scopelist because my work computer security doesn't let me on EuroOptic but lets me on the sister site over at scopelist lol.
