Tikka Superlite + Suppressor: Any Issues?

Have a 6.5CM cut to 19” and threaded at 1/2x28. Done by UM and used their 5/8” adapter. Shot great and no issues!

A little practice will quickly solve any perceived “balance issues” you may have.

I have multiple tikka rifles with shortened barrels, never had a single issue with any of them.
The balance issue with suppressors is when you go too long in barrel length and not short. It’s normally still manageable shooting wise, even with longer barrels but they suck to carry and certain field positions are compromised with the long barrel and suppressor combo.

I’ve shot Tikkas as short as 14” barrels with and without a can with the D16 lite profile and it’s zero issues on “balance”.

Why would a can have an expected 2” shift?
When you hang 10 ounces of weight on a light profile barrel, you completely change the harmonics and possibly even "sag'" the barrel a little bit. Almost every rifle i've ever shot experiences a zero shift when adding a suppressor, on my Tikka I know that I have to come up 1.75 and right .25 MOA if I want to shoot unsuppressed. The important factor is that it's consistently repeatable, meaning it shifts back to the exact same POI every time you put the suppressor back on.

I just changed the thread cap on my can to a 1/2x28 thread and no problems whatsoever, if you want to stay with the 5/8 then get a adapter
