Both had 4” cut off them and threaded 1/2 28.
The 243 has a Jolene S on it.

You can see the can between 2.5-5x On the RS1.2, it’s still plenty usable above 3.5X.

You can’t see the can at all with the SWFA.

Nice. That's nearly a twin to my setup except I've got a 16" 223 and 22" 243, scythe can.

I did end up taking off the barrel thread adapters and just changing the hub mount to a 1/2 28 one. The taper not matching my barrel was shitty looking and I marred em up tightening them.

Just finished my 6.5 prc, UM rings, Trijicon Credo 2.5-15x42, victor cheek riser, limbsaver pad, arca+pic and arca mini rail in epoxied fore end, vertical grip, and custom paint job. Heading out to shoot now that it’s ready to go.

Someone at UM thought that adapter was a good idea to send out. The same one came on my 223 that was cut and threaded by them. I ripped it off and tossed it in the garbage.

I love the idea of this built in flare assuming your barrel od at the muzzle is .575 and blends seamlessly.

The one in a previous post looks like it was put on with a pipe wrench.. everything I’ve gotten from UM has been top notch

Seriously, what’s with the metal shavings? UM has been great to work with for me and I will continue doing business with them. I would’ve done the same ditch the adapter and shoot it. Precision arms adapters have worked great for me.
