I carry a sling in my daypack in case I have to pack meat but if I’m in the field it’s in my hands. But I stillhunt pretty thick cover so if I see a deer there’s no time to get the rifle off my shoulder.

Yep I hunt in box blinds and tree stands. Gun is only in my hand to shoot or to take it off my shoulder.

Is that a Beartooth cheek riser? I ordered one and looking forward to having the difficulty installing it per all the reviews lol.

The installation wasn’t bad at all, it’s more the fact that the riser piece slides on the stock and you have to move it back. Other than that, it’s great!
