Tikka chambering/feeding issues

I’m sure it’s some kind of burr on the feed ramp or chamber. Having a good gunsmith disassemble and inspect with a borescope seems a very reasonable solution. And if it’s the chamber, PBB should be able to warranty the work.

Sorry LSwild isn’t responding.
Thanks. I'll look for a good gunsmith in my area and see what they think.

Would think he would have cycled some thru to check things out.
I told him I will probably have him prove mine so it’s somewhat vetted and I don’t have to deal with that.
He charges for the cost of the reloads.
Well that’s the plan anyway.

Is this a Preferred? If so, contact them through their website. They should get back to you pretty quick. I had a much less serious issue on a PBB that I bought from LS wild. After a few back-and-forth emailed photos, Preferred had me send it to them and they had it diagnosed and fixed the day that it arrived to them.

It is. I'll reach out to them. Thanks for the heads up on that. Glad it worked out quickly for you

Seems like a good way to go. Hopefully arrives all dialed in.

When I had an issue with mine (scratched brass), I reached out to @hereinaz, who was happy to help, but said I would probably get faster service if I dealt directly with Preferred.

So, I emailed Preferred, got a reply from a nice guy named Mason, told him what I had and where I got it and what the problem was, and he sent me an RMA form and told me to send it in.

When it arrived at their shop, they immediately opened the box and inspected the barrel (both on and off the action) and told me what the problem was (my ejector spring) and repackaged it like a new barrel and sent it back to me. No charge.

Good luck!
