I'm sure this has been discussed but I can't find any info readily available.

I need a mag that will fit a COAL of 3.110 and preferably flush or as flush as possible. Cannot find any pictures of a HCA gen 2 magazine installed on a tikka to see if it is flush or not. Does anyone know if those mags are flush or do they still protrude a little? Pictures welcome

A standard tikka 3rd LA will work just fine with the PRC, gives 3.3”+, and is flush. I tried the HCA gen 2 but eventually just came back to the basic tikka LA mag.
Do you need to run the LA bolt stop for these mags?

To use the 6.5 PRC mags for a Tikka, do you need the LA stop or does a SA stop work?

Yes. The 6.5prc comes with a LA bolt stop from the factory.
The question is need not what it comes with. The SA stop will pick up rounds from a mag out past 3" coal, so unless you're running long action mags no its technically not needed but certainly doesn't hurt anything and I'd be inclined to run a LA stop in a PRC if it was me.

I value both of those replies thank you
Beretta customer service couldnt even tell me what the factory 6.5prc comes with for a stop

The SA stop will pick up rounds from a mag out past 3" coal
Will a SA stop pick up 6.5 prc rounds from the Tikka 6.5PRC magaizine? I see online sources stating 3.07" internal length. Just curious

I think shaving some material off a SA stop would be easy enough to gain some more rearward clearance, but agree with consensus (and Tikka) that a LA stop makes the most sense here.
