Yes.wouldn't it almost GUARANTEE that your meat is now tainted with cwd by cross contamination from surfaces and tools in the butchering process?
And it was taken to a processor...I assume every single animal taken to a processor has CWD so testing YOUR deer is moot. Your game has the prions because it's basically impossible to clean the equipment of them in a commercial grade facility. I don't understand the logic of a lot of people here. If you're gonna hunt units with prevalence of CWD, you should expect your deer to have it. It's not some anomaly. Stop hunting that unit.Mic drop... close the thread and sticky.
The unit I hunt mule deer in has about 4% prevalence.
