For $1300 I'd put my own together with a Proof SS barrel on a thick walled upper, but the Larue uppers are worth that IMO. They're wicked accurate with perfect gassing and the build is top shelf, right there with Seekins, KAC, and LMT (the stuff before QC started slipping).
I wondered how they were selling what they were for $750, there certainly wasn't much profit. I'm glad I got two at the intro price.
I have heard nothing but good things about larue rifles. Another positive is they are sr25 cut so you can use other uppers I'm that cut that are "a cut above" the rest.
