10 days in the Idaho backcountry elk hunting and you are posting about your chair !? I believe you when you say it's great but ...HOW WAS THE HUNT!?

pretty much sums up my hunt.

In years past, I saw 1 guy.... we called in several. I think the fires had people hunting other units.

Never heard wolves in this unit...now its the norm. The guys purchased wolf tags but those critters are not easily hunted with a bow.

I also never had 5 days of nasty storms... like 40 mph wind...hail and lightning. makes it tough to dry stuff out...also the hike back to spike camp was called slip and slide after all the rain.. I am used to bone dry and dusty. Elk were silent and not using the wallows.

Like I said its elk hunting and I had a blast.. lost 6 more lbs

If you don't need back support I can recommend Walkstool.
I have been sitting on it for hundreds of hours in a blind or just anywhere. The quality and comfort is great.
A back support just gets in the way for me when I'm in a blind.
It has large rubber feets so it won't sink in to the ground as easy as other models I have used. The model I use has a load capacity of 495 lbs.
I'm using the Walkstool Comfort 55 model.

I used the same justification so don't feel bad. I think I got mine from campsaver or campmor or something. Got the chair, set of mini groundhogs and something else I obviously couldn't live without shipped for less than the chair normally so that seemed like a perfectly good reason.

Campsaver , with a backup 3L big zip and sawyer inline adapters...and another impulse purchase , ti long spoon , because it looked cool ! Lol !
