The Shoot2hunt Podcast

Correct . Blast cases w One Shot, roll to get all sides, occasionally spray inside of die if it feels “sticky”, I’m at 3 if not 4 stuck cases. Then I broke my threading bit off in the last case. Like I said . “Special”

What dies?

Spraying lube inside the die, may be your issue. I've never done that or felt I needed to. I will use a dry clean patch/ cloth to clean them out over a few hundred rounds. I clean my brass before resizing, even tho thats not popular on here. Doesn't cost me any time since I reload over days, not all processes at one sit down. Pretty rare for me to have excess resistance on sizing since I started this process.

From what I understand, the 215 from Federal is the exact same, they just go through more quality checks on the Match grade primers. I can't remember if it was Hornady talking to Federal about it on their podcast or if it was another video I caught on a tour of Federal's facility.

Has anyone actually proved that a match primer vs. a standard makes any noticeable difference?
According to the podcast I linked above straight from the manufacturer there is no difference. They perform additional QC checks and use their more senior operators which is where the additional cost comes from.

The additional QC would make it less likely to get a bad primer in your batch and may be slightly more consistent from a senior operator, but they are both theoretical gains. There is no recipe or physical difference between the standard and match primers.
