There are no equine supported hunts in my foreseeable future but I found it very entertaining.

Cliff was a good guest! I worked with a guy for a while that lived in Eagle, CO that had the same spiccoli twist to how he talks as Cliff so it seemed fitting for him to be from that area

Makes no difference to me but AA dropped off my app list, maybe due to inactivity, so I don't get notifications.

Not sure if you and Tanya care either, but some potential listeners might miss out. And exposure for the guests, if they want more?

Jake did a really good podcast on handloading that I want to send to people getting started. I can't find it, and I don't think it was on AA.

Maybe have Jake take a break for Mule Week, and have him do a new episode on handloading?

That was a good and concise podcast, but maybe he's got new suggestions on components and equipment since then. Take a beginner from the start. No shame in pointing out the options for sale at UM either.

All great ideas! Even though I don't have horses, or plan to hunt from any, I still get entertainment from the topics they cover and always learn something (even if it is about the Human Centipede) Having a variety of topics keeps it interesting and fun.

Would love to see an episode or segment on elk calls. When to use them, when not to. Calling during the rut vs. calling during a post-rut rifle hunt. Diaphragm vs. something like a hootchie mama. There’s so many options on the market, what would you recommend? Do I need/want a bugle tube, etc. Maybe Corey Jacobson or Jason Phelps as a guest.

Not hating but just curious so now if you have one of these types of builds (drop test approved) if you do drop you rifle do you not shoot it to verify anyway?

I’ve just always verified if I had a fall or rifle gets knocked over or something like that. And I always verify when getting to the location of the hunt so I’m confident as close to the hunt as possible and after traveling.

Trust, but always verify. Using the proper setup means a 1 shot verification vs a multiple shot verification and resite in and chase problems that have arisen from a hard impact.

Lots of elk calling podcasts. I'd recommend searching out ones from Paul Medel/elknut, Jay Scott, Chris Roe, Cody Rich.

It's about as applicable to a rifle shooting podcast as the livestock discussions. Certainly options for calling elk during rifle seasons but not a primary thing in many.

It's about as applicable to a rifle shooting podcast as the livestock discussions. Certainly options for calling elk during rifle seasons but not a primary thing in many.

If Chris Roe comes on I want Ryan to take a shot every time he says "landscape"! My buddy and I a couple years ago listened to him and Snyder talk after getting back to the tipi one night. We made a drinking game out of it. The next morning wasn't fun!
