It also compacts/straps down as small and tight as any pack they make.
Patiently waiting myself to see this pack. @Formidilosus can you say if this is more of a day pack, or can it be used for multi day backpacking style hunts?
I’ve never owned an Exo pack. Are there frames/belts as comfortable as SG?It’s 95% complete. 20+ samples are being made for evaluation by people for spring bear.
It is a different thought process than any bag Exo has made before. It is designed around some core principles of how we use gear that is based on speed of access to daily use items- tripod/spotter or binos, puff suit and/or rain gear, daily food, etc; and protecting your sleep system- not one buckle has to be unclipped to access any of those items. It’s the fastest and cleanest way to go from packed and hiking, to setup and glassing/shooting.

I’ve used both a good bit and generally say the K4 wears a lot more comfortable - one of the main reasons is being able match the stay height to my torso, which was the thing that got me to switch. The wider hip belt, larger lumbar, stay shape, and suspension are quite good. The bags are a little “busy” but between the 3600 and 7200 I’ve been really happy. Especially like the dry bag liner, the pack lid, and roll top on the bags themselves.I’ve never owned an Exo pack. Are there frames/belts as comfortable as SG?
So I have used the big three. Kifaru, Stone and EXO. Ill leave out Barneys because its so specialized and KUIU because I am not a fan of their packs. Kifaru is hands down my favorite fit form and function especially with a heavy load, the stone hurt my hips with heavy loads but was a well built pack and quality was on par. I liked the K3 except the belt/ hip pads sat funny on me, this was changed and "fixed" with the K4. From what Steve told me it was a large "problem" with a lot of people. IMO packs are like boots, bourbon and women. You have to try them all and see what works for YOU best.I’ve never owned an Exo pack. Are there frames/belts as comfortable as SG?
Thanks, will read this!Been seeing some guys test out the prototype K4 5000 in Coyote tan. I know I can’t be the only one waiting to hear about these lol they look slick. Anybody have any clue on when they will be done designing and when they will drop them? Lol

They are both good, but the K4 is pretty sweet and the company is great.
Never had a K4, just k1 and k2. I've had Kifaru gen2 duplex, Seek outside revo frame, and SG xcurve as well. My exo packs were most comfortable all around and i liked the bag designs best. Where the K1/K2 fell short of the x-curve for me was keeping weight up on my hips with heavy loads and that has been enough to keep me in an x-curve as my main pack. K2 was better with weight than SO and Kifaru g2 duplex for me, just not as good as the x-curve.I’ve never owned an Exo pack. Are there frames/belts as comfortable as SG?

Hoping on something in the 4500 range myself, with a wet pocket for rain gear and tent fly ( the mesh pocket is useless on the k4 ) and a dry pocket for down with out having to go into the main pack.It is a late season large pack- 7,000 +/- cubic inches.

Still small enough to use in creeks and streams we use to get into most of the hunting spots.
Integral suppressors alright exist and have for ages. If you mean a monolithic style then they would have cleaning and carbon build up issues. As well as in the US the barrel is the suppressor and when the barrel is shot out so is you tax stamp I would assumeWith todays engineering design and manufacturing technology could we manufacture a 1 piece barrel and surpressor? Rather than having a barrell and surpressor and screwing them together, why not integrate both into a one piece product?
