Supposedly Tikka bolts will work in it. UM is also working on a bolt with interchangeable heads, and the UM bolt is supposed to be compatible in a Tikka action! I’m liking where this is heading! The raven, must be the Tikka clone action body? Sounded like it'd take Tikka bolts from the comments I heard?
If Unknown makes a Tikka clone action that takes at the least 300 prc length cartridges I will definitely get one. 223s/6mms are effective but shooting big bullets is so much fun
Notching the action port and setting up with an AICS bottom metal/Mag.How would a tikka clone fit fit longer than 3.5” COAL?

I've been down that road and I agree, just saying if a guy was dead set on Tikka or clone to accept longer COAL, UM can make it happen.A whole new action with that made in mind is better.
This is what I meant. The ability to use a Tikka bolt/trigger/stock and shoot longer cartridges. But you might be right, Form, another action that gives you the best of all worlds would be worth a look.Notching the action port and setting up with an AICS bottom metal/Mag.
What action are you speaking of? As far as I'm concerned, there is no best of all worlds, and a Tikka clone will not be either. Price point is going to have to be highly competitive on this action. You can buy a Tikka donor for 600-700$, sell everything but action/trigger and be into it $400-500. Now if your hear desires, for $350 UM can chop it up/flute and nitride everything. Believe it lands the action in that 24oz range, which is on the lighter side but not LIGHT comparing to a lot of rem clones. But the price to weight is a solid buy. The raven will have to price competitively to this range, with a lot of good options in the $900-1100$.Form, another action that gives you the best of all worlds would be worth a look.
3d printing and then to a cnc would likely result in a large amount of inconsistency from unit to unit. You also would be way farther ahead time wise to start with a solid piece of tube stock and start from scratch. Costs on materials for an action is nothing compared to machine time. You're likely using $150 worth of steel, or less in an action when initial purchase, prior to machining. The Tikka clone will be cheaper than an integral lug rem700 clone, as less material is needed for initial diameter, less machine time too.Would it be possible to 3D print a Tikka clone? Maybe some minor machine work and call it a Raven.
I don't know anything about 3D printing but if you can print a suppressor why not an action.
