I have a feeling JVB would never have the balls to debate Form on a podcast.....that's what we ALL want though.....
So far I've heard JVB basically take things out of context, and twist the issue to fit his narrative.....talking about a larger cartridge is a superior if you shoot them through the paunch......wtf? Also talks sectional density, and never even mentions that fact Form has stated over and over about how 14 inches of penetration will kill anything in North America and has found a sierra tmk 77g sufficient.....maybe JVB is hunting Brontosaurs and needs more penetration.

I really enjoy the podcast. A buddy sent me the podcast last year and listening to it got me to join RokSlide. Now I'm moving to smaller bullets for hunting.

My sons are 11 and 13 and VERY small for their age so I have them shoot AR platforms. This year I had one shoot his buck with a .223 77 TMK and the other one used a 6 ARC 107 ELDM for his buck. Those little bullets killed well.

The older shot a cow elk with a 308 AR10 and it went well but I think our next experiment will be moving that AR10 from a 308 to 6 CM or 6.5 CM.

His last name is not Von Benedict or however he spells it it’s a “pen name” his twin brother and him thought sounded clever/sophisticated.

Ask around about von Benedict’s in a little town in Boulder Utah.

This fact alone is all I need to know about either brother.

I think I’m averaging at least one good fall or rifle drop a year, pretty sure it’s a requirement.

This year it was walking down a steepish clear cut. Caught my toe on a limb that pivoted up perfectly to stay hooked on my foot. Ka-WHAM! Rifle landed perfectly flat on the left side, my hand still on it.
T3X 223, UM Rings, SWFA 10x. Still seemed to be zeroed on the little WT buck I shot about 90 minutes later.

That is funny learn something new all the time looks like you found the real names? Never really paid much attention to the guy outside of hearing his name on here that's some next level stalking skills you got though.

Quite the contrary. Hiding your name is one thing, changing it to sound more sophisticated as an outdoor journalist/writer is quite another…

And as far as my stalking skills on the Barsch or Von Benedict brothers, I can’t take credit….

it’s more like no one in a town of a couple hundred people knew of twin brothers named Von Benedict, but they did know a couple Barsch Boys ...just makes me laugh more than anything.
