There could be some confusion whether it means zero (as in no) change, or zero change as in wandering zero. I guess that’s kinda handy until they’ve been out in the wild a while

The scope hasn't been tested. So they won't "be" at the shot show. The samples/test scopes will "be" picked up at shot show is what i took from that segment. I do however think it is Vortex from the "who cares whose name is on it" comment

That was what I heard as well, but didn't they also say pre-sales would start at Western Hunt expo? If that is the case, that seems like a very short testing window to truly determine if it will be as reliable as we all hope.

Maybe I missed something but I thought they said they were going to be testing samples at the S2H classes this summer and then opening presales in the fall if everything goes well.

Like other's have said, i think rokstok lites is what you are thinking about

My personal favorites would be:

- Corvus (Raven) Corvus scope on a Corax rifle = Corvus Corax = scientific name for Raven (common raven / Northern raven)

- Cretan (Greek for bull) because the scope would be "strong like bull" (said with the accent)

- Lithos or Petra(rock/stone) could bridge the gap in a creative way to mean Rokscope


Other cool scientific names based on bats or birds (for some reason y'all like to name things after bats and birds)


Desmodus: vampire bat

Haast: large extinct eagle

Vulcanops: extinct burrowing bat

You're correct, just re-listened. It will be at Hunt Expo to put hands on. Pre-sale date was not called out.
When they order is put in, it'll be 6 months out from there.

3-18x44, sub 25oz, FFP, exclusive reticle (then Ryan says "two reticles"), illuminated, for $999 retail.

Paint the picture: smooth lines, Big flat, low profile turrets, 44mm object with 30mm tube.

Seeing the turret, the most fitting name is Compact Hunting Optic - Drop Evaluated.

Size and form factor look pretty good, hoping to see it in person at the winter class.
