I don't GAS what you or anyone wears. My initial comment was just to ensure the OP knew that those are not meaningless patterns. The increasing detail was meant to clarify the specifics on how it works for those it wasn't quite clear for.

Everything means something to someone. But you are beating the dead horse that this is like wearing tribal gang colors. Your words, not mine. I’m more concerning about a grizzly gnawing on my ass than I am about what message I’m sending.

I was trying to make light of the fact that you might be overthinking your wardrobe choices a little too much. I literally give as little thought to what “flags I’m flying” as I possibly can. I have enough worthwhile things to spend my mental energy on.

Which is ironic, considering that I have spent time in this thread…. Ah crap. I’m going to fence out and go to bed. Naked. And I’m flying a flag…. Trying to send an affiliation message to my wife.
