The world has ended way to many times in my short life for me to care.

Mostly posting that because it is definitely not at 50k anymore.

part of the issue is I have to pull the funds out of my brokerage account that is in ETF's. I figured once it lands in the IRA i can allocate to the different funds.

reread your post, so maybe I can set it in the IRA and sit on it until the market flattens?

At Schwab you should be able to move the ETFs directly without cashing out.
You are still gonna owe on gains though
Should be an instantaneous transaction either way
