The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

I am not familiar with SPIA, I'm assuming it's an annuity.
The ONLY Annuity I would even consider is from one of the low cost/ low commission providers like Vanguard.

I have a couple buddies that sell those annuities and the hidden commission on those is outrageous. Read the fine print on early withdrawals- brutal.

That said, I can see where it makes sense for a retired person locking in a guaranteed payout...as long as its truly guaranteed.

I just picked up one share of MSFT at $423 (EDIT: also added a second share to my Roth) and 2 shares of MSTR at $140. The MSFT drop seems like an overreaction for a MAG 7 name, but what do I know. 2 shares of MSTR is just speculation, honestly, it's at the 52 week low.

More broadly, I finally got off the sidelines with my TSP a few days ago, it had been 100% in G Fund for a long enough time that I'm embarrassed to say. Kept 50% in G for now considering most indices are at/near ATHs, but I put 20% in C, 15% in S, 15% in I.

Do any of you all follow Jim Cramer?

I have seen some terrible advice from that clown over the years...not to mention his claims of great profits when he was a hedge fund guy have been Rebutted by many.

Jim Cramer Calls the NVIDIA Deal a “Fantastic Verification for CoreWeave”

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/jim-cramer-calls-nvidia-deal-175216754.html
that from insider monkey picked up on Yahoo. CRWV is down almost 9% in one day. Good call Jim you idiot.

Be careful where you get your financial advice, I'm not the only one who thinks Cramer is an idiot. In fact, my son told me he was following a reddit thing that was the reverse of Cramer for awhile and it was doing better than his recommendations.
