The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

I am not familiar with SPIA, I'm assuming it's an annuity.
The ONLY Annuity I would even consider is from one of the low cost/ low commission providers like Vanguard.

I have a couple buddies that sell those annuities and the hidden commission on those is outrageous. Read the fine print on early withdrawals- brutal.

That said, I can see where it makes sense for a retired person locking in a guaranteed payout...as long as its truly guaranteed.

I just picked up one share of MSFT at $423 and 2 shares of MSTR at $140. The MSFT drop seems like an overreaction for a MAG 7 name, but what do I know. 2 shares of MSTR is just speculation, honestly, it's at the 52 week low.

More broadly, I finally got off the sidelines with my TSP a few days ago, it had been 100% in G Fund for a long enough time that I'm embarrassed to say. Kept 50% in G for now considering most indices are at/near ATHs, but I put 20% in C, 15% in S, 15% in I.
