You have until April 15th if you wanted to wait.Trying to invest a $7000 ROTH IRA before end of year. Seems like market is high to buy now. What are some techniques for funding an IRA at end of year when market seems high? Invest anyway with long term view that if it drops it will recover over time? Buy individual stocks that are not currently inflated? Put it in money markets and wait a while? Buy dividend paying stocks?
You can deposit it into your Roth and keep it in their default money market fund until you decide what you'd like to invest it in. There is no deadline to purchase individual stocks/etfs etc.Trying to invest a $7000 ROTH IRA before end of year. Seems like market is high to buy now. My favorite aggressive(high risk) long term investments are FBTC/IBIT, MSTR, TSLA, NVDA, PLTR, COIN, IREN & HOOD.My boy is gonna fully fund his Roth on January 1, $7,500. He’s only 25 and his risk profile is aggressive. Any suggestions?

I think I bought some back in 2020 or 2021 from a “hot tip” from a friend. Bought 100 shares at $27. It’s been a total loss. Was it here I saw someone recommending this -Luminar, symbol LAZR?
A lidar business...but then they are getting sued by 3 outfits; Volvo, another company that was making the lidar for them and another AI software company.
Small $8 stock now going belly up. CEO resigned before an inquiry into his actions...has now started an AI company called Russel AI labs. Might be a good idea to stay away from that one too.
What a mess- it's worth taking a look at the STORY here....some of them sound great. Many of these small get rich quick companies are a dice roll.
